SSC CGL Eligibility:

All the aspiring candidates are required to abide by all the SSC CGL 2022 Eligibility Criteria as described by the SSC commission. There are 4 criteria in SSC CGL eligibility, the last one is only for certain posts. Check SSC CGL Eligibility criteria given below:

  1. Citizenship– Must Be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan.
  2. SSC CGL Age Limit- Must Be between the age group of 18 years to 32 years.
  3. Qualification- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
  4. Physical Fitness– Only for candidates for certain posts like Inspector, Sub- Inspector, etc.

Age Relaxation is applicable as per norms.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the CGL examination in 4 Tiers. Each student becomes eligible for a different tier after clearing the minimum marks criteria. SSC CGL Exam Syllabus

The SSC CGL Exam Syllabus 2022 details as given below:

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Syllabus:- Topics related to General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & comprehension.

Tier 2 Exam Syllabus:- Topics related to Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & Comprehension, Statistics, General Studies( Finance & Economics)

SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam Syllabus:- This exam is a descriptive exam to evaluate a candidate’s Language skills in Hindi/English. This is only for candidates appearing for Statistical Investigator ( Grade II) & Compiler.

SSC CGL Tier 4 Exam Syllabus:-This test comprises of Data Entry Speed Test & Computer Proficiency Test. This exam is for candidates appearing for specific posts under the Government of India.

How To Apply For SSC CGL Online?

Follow the steps to apply for SSC CGL:

Step 1: Visit The official website of the staff selection commission (https://ssc.nic.in/)

2nd Step: Register yourself by using a mobile number, email id. If you have already registered then login using your Registration number.

Step 3: If you have forgotten or lost your registration number then, check it on your mail-id.

Step 4: Fill in all the asked details, If you have some doubts then let us know.

5th Step: Upload asked identity proofs: photograph, signature.

Step 6: Review the application to get rid of any mistakes.

Step 7: Fill in the payment details for application fees. Application fee exempted for females, Physical Disabled and SC/ST candidates.

8th Step: After following all the steps, save the soft copy of the submission. If you have filled the form from a shop then take a printout for future references.

SSC CGL Result:

SSC uploads the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result on its official website. Staff Selection Commission will upload the Tier 1 Result with marks obtained by students after normalization. Candidates can check using Registration No./Roll No. and Password. You will find CGL Tier 1 Result here as the commission publishes the  SSC CGL Result 2022.

For SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2022, you must have to clear Tier 1. We will upload the SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2022 once the SSC declares it.

SSC CGL Tier 3 Result 2022, SSC will declare the result separately for different posts.

The SSC CGL Tier 4 Result 2022 will be of Computer proficiency test and can be taken anytime as per the candidate’s availability.

How many vacancies are there in SSC Combined Graduate Level 2022?

The Staff selection commission hasn’t disclosed the number of vacancies yet. We can assume it at the time of the merit list.

Will the exam be conducted online or offline?

Tier 1 & Tier 2 Exam for SSC CGL will be conducted in online mode. Only Tier-III, the descriptive paper will be conducted offline – pen and paper mode.

Is negative marking applicable in SSC CGL?

There will be a negative marking of 0.5 for each wrong answer in Tier-I. In Tier-II, there is a negative marking system of 0.25 for each wrong answer in Paper-II – English Language & Comprehension and 0.50 for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper III and Paper IV of Tier II.
