    Delhi will soon get a new IP university

    Manish Sisodia, the Delhi Education Minister, declared that a new university campus would be built shortly. The new IP University campus will be located in east Delhi. The campus will house 2400 students to provide higher education. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) is nearing the end of its East Delhi campus phase.

    Under CM @ArvindKejriwal, Delhi will soon acquire another brand new university campus – IP University’s East Delhi campus. Today, I inspected the final stage of its building. “This cutting-edge facility will give world-class higher education to 2400 students,” the minister tweeted.

    The campus announcement was made last year. IP University established two new schools on the new campus: the University School of Automation & Robotics (USAR) and the University School of Design & Innovation (USDI) (USDI). These colleges will offer five new bachelor’s degree programs at their Surajmal Vihar location in east Delhi.

    USAR programs include BTech in Automation & Robotics (120 Seats), BTech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (120 Seats), BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (120 Seats), BTech in Industrial Internet of Things (120 Seats), and one BDes (120 Seats) program at USDI.
