Central Board of Secondary Education released the Revised CBSE 12th Date Sheet 2024 with some changes on January 11, 2024. As per the circular released by CBSE, the exam dates of Informatic Practices/ Computer Science and Philosophy/ Entrepreneurship/ Human Rights and Gender Studies/ Theater Studies/ Library & Info Science have changed. The circular is available on cbse.nic.in.
Initially, the board exam of Informatic Practices and Computer Science was scheduled for March 03, 2024. But now, it will be conducted on April 02, 2024. Also, class 12 exams of Philosophy/ Entrepreneurship/ Human Rights and Gender Studies/ Theater Studies/ Library & Info Science, which are going to be conducted on April 02, 2024, will be conducted on April 04, 2024.
The are no changes in the rest of the exams for class 12. They will start as the earlier specified dates in the CBSE 12th date sheet 2024.
REVISED CBSE 12th DATE SHEET 2024
There are no changes in the CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2024. So, the exams will commence on predefined dates, as announced earlier.
Now, students can take relief as the CBSE board has solved their issues.
A few days ago, a group of parents of class 12 students had written to Union Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar. They requested that he change the date sheet for class 12. because the Economics, Informatics Practices, Psychology, and Physical Education exams are on March 27, 28, 29, and on March 30, 2024. According to the parents, 50% of students who opted for humanities and its combination subjects did not have a one-day gap between these exams.
So, for the convenience of the students, the CBSE Board made changes in the dates of the exams. Now, the students have enough of a gap between these exams.
The previous year, students faced the same problem. The Psychology and Political Science exams were scheduled continuously. But, in spite of the difficulty, the CBSE Board had not made any changes in the exam dates. But this year, the board listened to the students’ issues and revised the date sheet for class 12 students.
There are some other requests from the students of class 12 to change the exam dates of Biology. The exam for Physics is on March 05, Chemistry is on March 12, Biology is on March 15, and Mathematics is on March 18, 2019. These exams have a great percentage of students, so the students also want some changes in these exams. However, the board has not made any changes in these exams yet.
