APSSB CSL Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the APSSB CSL Recruitment 2023 are as follows:
Educational Qualification
- For LDC, DEO, and Junior Secretariat Assistant posts, the candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board or university. They must have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer.
- For the Agriculture Field Assistant post, the candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Science as one of the subjects from a recognized board or university.
- For the Laboratory Assistant post, the candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Science as one of the subjects from a recognized board or university. They must have a certificate in Laboratory Assistant Course from a recognized institution.
- For Record Keeper and Record Sorter posts, the candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
- For the Computer Operator post, the candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board or university. They must have a diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institution.
- For Driver post, the candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board or university and must have a valid driving license for light or heavy motor vehicles.
Age Limit

- The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for APST candidates, 10 years for PwD candidates, and 3 years for ESM candidates.

Physical Standards
- For LDC, DEO, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Agriculture Field Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, and Computer Operator posts, the candidates must have a minimum height of 158 cm for male candidates and 152 cm for female candidates and a minimum chest measurement of 79 cm (normal) and 84 cm (expanded) for male candidates only.
- For Record Keeper, Record Sorter, and Driver posts, the candidates must have a minimum height of 153 cm for male candidates and 145 cm for female candidates and a minimum chest measurement of 79 cm (normal) and 84 cm (expanded) for male candidates only.
Selection Process for APSSB CSL Recruitment 2023
The selection process for the APSSB CSL Recruitment 2023 will consist of two stages: The written Exam and the Physical Test. The candidates who qualify for the written exam will be eligible to appear for the physical test. The physical test will include a physical efficiency test (PET), a physical standard test (PST), and a medical test. The PET will consist of running, long jump, and high jump.
The PST will measure the height, chest, and weight of the candidates. The medical test will check the vision, hearing, and general health of the candidates. The physical test will be qualifying in nature, and no marks will be awarded for it. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written exam.
